Memories / Highlights of the School Year (Last Year)
What stands out in your mind from the 2010-2011, 1st Year in Middle School, year? In any class, during any time of the day, what do you remember the most?

Hope things are well!
Thank you again for the opportunity to present my story and my country to your students! I really enjoyed talking to them and I especially liked the part when the kids wanted to know what their names sound like in Slovak. I thought the questions they asked were excellent and you should be very proud of them. It's great to see such dedicated teachers as yourself and such enthusiastic kids as your students! No wonder you like working with them so much....
On another note, some of my teacher friends in Slovakia expressed interest in getting their students in touch with your students over the internet. I am trying to figure out what would be the best way to set that up and I realize that school is almost, if not, over for your kids (Slovak schools let the kids out on 6/30). Perhaps you can connect in September, but in the meantime I can provide you with contact information for my friends so you guys can work out the details?
Let me know your thoughts!

Amber is #1 hehe said... Hey Mr.K, Um! Well i think the most memeroible moment for me was when we all went skating and poor Tessa got her front teeth knocked out by ACCIDENT.
I would have to say that going to the skating rink/ bowling alley/ laser tag/ arcade, was the most memorable thing for me because I got to play laser tag for the first time.
Ahhhhhhh wats happening Mr. Koczot! man i really miss the middle school days and i swear onm y life i thought id never say that! hahaha anyways hope your doin good and miss your awesome teaching =]

A middle school teacher in Newport, North Carolina, Mr. Koczot has decided to give his students and parents/guardians a chance to communicate, learn, and receive hints as to upcoming events in an on-line Blog. (Maybe some will even start a Blog of their own)? I hope to have the current 6th grade class actively involved with technology, the web, pod casting, news/media, blogging, face booking, smartboard use, and the newest resource, which is teleconferencing by the end of the 2011-12 school year.
